About AnyFormatLocal and AI Text Cleaner
Why this product exists
AnyFormatLocal maintains a browser-first tool for removing mechanical text artifacts without silently rewriting the words. The repository contains public content dated from July 14, 2025. We do not claim an earlier launch date without stronger evidence.
How the cleaner works
The default cleaner applies deterministic rules to hidden Unicode, non-breaking spaces, tabs, repeated spaces, trailing whitespace, and excess blank lines. Rules that can alter visible punctuation or Markdown are opt-in. The methodology lists every rule, default, risk, fixture, and limitation.
The AI humanizer is a separate rewriting product and can change wording. The writing-pattern checker reports local heuristic signals and cannot prove authorship.
Who maintains it
The product is maintained by the AnyFormatLocal maintainers. We do not publish a personal founder identity, team size, corporate registration, or office location because those facts are not verified in this repository.
How behavior is tested
Checked-in tests cover clean text, hidden Unicode, whitespace, Markdown, punctuation, multilingual input, code, JSON, large inputs, undo behavior, browser-only processing, and focused tool interactions. The public artifact research report provides a downloadable fixed corpus executed against the same engine.
Corrections and contact
Email support@ai-text-cleaner.com to report an incorrect product, privacy, methodology, or research statement. We verify reports against the implementation and evidence before changing a factual claim. No response-time promise is made.
